Dr. Joel Aronowitz: “Okay, do you think that looks good?”

Bridget: “No, I mean, look at that.”

Dr. Joel Aronowitz: “But look how well we’re positioning it. Quick video here.”

Bridget: “You’ve got a couple over like Trump.”

Dr. Joel Aronowitz: “Oh my god.”

Bridget: “Okay.”

Dr. Joel Aronowitz: “Come on.”

Bridget: “I thought you were going to say XMXs.”

Dr. Joel Aronowitz: “Quick video on a relatively common problem. A little bit embarrassing. A woman with large breasts who’s a runner. And how to deal with large breasts and running in it. It’s a fairly common problem. So the normal bra doesn’t do too well running. There’s problems with chafing. There’s problems with pain. And there’s also aging of the breasts. Accelerated sagging that occurs because if the woman’s chest is going one direction, the breasts are going another direction. They’re going to stretch out the blood faster. So how do you deal with that?”

Bridget: “If you’re a runner, do they stretch out faster? Especially the larger the breast.”

Dr. Joel Aronowitz: “The larger the breast because if the breasts have a momentum going one direction, they’re going the other. So, the key is to keep the mass, the weight of the breast, close to your chest so that your breasts are moving with your chest. And that can be accomplished with bras and also with binding or wrapping. And even our little tape trick which we’ll show in a different video. My dear friend Jimena, shout out to Jimena who’s a really super runner and does marathons, ultra-marathons, and never stops moving. It’s true. One of my favorite people in the world, Jimena. Thank you for the tips. So, the Old Navy bra and crew bra are cheap. They’re very cheap. They’re easy to get and they work really well. Crew is a brand of undergarments.”

Bridget: “I go with Nike. Is that not-”

Dr. Joel Aronowitz: “Nike’s fine. Jimena didn’t recommend it.”

Bridget: “I didn’t know where you were getting these names from. I was like, where is this coming from? Is there a sponsorship I don’t know about?”

Dr. Joel Aronowitz: “No. No. We’re immune to sponsorships. And the other tip from Jimena which is a great tip is a product called Glide. Glide is a you rub on your body to prevent chafing. It works on the feet as well, really well. Anywhere where there’s rubbing. Men sometimes get very sensitive chest and nipples especially. Glide works very well protecting your skin from the chafing of the clothing. So Glide works really well on the breasts as well. Now one other thing if you have very large breasts and you’re having trouble with the bra because the bra over time gets stretched out and it’s really not holding these large breasts especially if your breasts are a little bit pendulous to begin with then binding works very well. And what you do is use a cloth roll about six inches wide and you do a cross your heart pattern. So basically you would wrap the chest like this but at the breast you do cross your heart and then you go over the breast to hold them snug. So you first you separate them by doing a cross your heart pattern and then straight across. Fairly uh that will hold that will flatten out the breast and hold it tight to the chest also.”

Bridget: “Hmm that’s interesting.”

Dr. Joel Aronowitz: “We should try that on you. Not that not because I mean we should you know.”

Bridget: “We could do that. I mean like you know because people are going to be like what do you mean by cross your heart? Never mind I shouldn’t even talk. Go on.”

Dr. Joel Aronowitz: “I think Bridget just wants to bind me up somehow. She wants one right here. Do you have any other tips? You’re a big runner.”

Bridget: “Um no I mean getting a good bra and then once it once you wash it and wash it and wash it and it’s stretched out I mean treat yourself don’t keep wearing the same one for years and years.”

Dr. Joel Aronowitz: “Yeah that’s why I think uh finding an inexpensive brand that you can replace fairly frequently is important. Any other tips?”

Bridget: “No. Wear sunscreen.”

Dr. Joel Aronowitz: “Wear sunscreen? That has nothing to do with what we’re talking about but. So that’s our tip for the runners out there in the real world back here in Aronowitzland. Everything is just hunky dory and perfect isn’t it Bridget?”

Bridget: “It’s perfect. Bye bye now.”
